Drip irrigation is the most ideal technology for vegetable irrigation in greenhouses. It has the advantages of saving water, increasing production, cooling, saving labor and high efficiency.

1. Simple drip irrigation production: build a reservoir with a capacity of 3 cubic meters to 5 cubic meters and a height of 1 to 3 meters in the first shed, install gate valves and water meters at the outlet of the pool, and use 38 mm plastic pipes as the inner hair of the shed. The pipe is connected to the outlet pipe of the pool. There are two types of arrangement of branch pipes and capillaries:

  1. Route the capillary along the length of the shed. A 25mm plastic pipe is used as a vertical connection between the branch pipe and the capillary pipe at the mouth of the shed, and a gate valve is installed on the branch pipe; in the shed, it is parallel to the capillary pipe and perpendicular to the branch pipe, and a pipe with a diameter of 15-20 mm and a length of 15 mm is installed every 1 meter. A plastic tube with the same length of shed is tied with a thin plastic tube with a hole spacing of 35 cm and a hole diameter of 1.0-1.3 mm as a capillary tube to form a simple drip irrigation network system. The advantage of this arrangement is that it is easy to operate and manage.

  2. Route the capillary along the shed span. A number of porous plastic capillary tubes with a length of 4 times the shed span were used, the head end was connected to the branch pipe on the shed side, and 4 lines were bent parallel to the shed span. The pipes were covered with plastic film, and vegetables were grown between the films. The advantage of this arrangement is that the vegetables in the shed have sufficient sunlight, which is conducive to growth and development.
